Selecting Your Start Times

When requesting a golf course please make sure that all players meet the handicap requirement of this course.  We need to know your handicaps and if any of the players are Juniors.

The golf courses typically start play at 7.30 am or 8.00 am.  A few start earlier at certain times of the year and a few start later.

Some courses start on the 1st and 10th tee at the same time.  In the winter this means, that there are tee-off times only in the early morning and at about noon.

Start times on the day of arrival or departure are problematic, as flight times change quite often and your arrival flight may be delayed.  If you book golf on these days the risk is completely yours.  No refunds can be given if you are unable to play golf booked.  We will only book on your day of arrival or day of departure, if you have explicitly asked us to do so.

The courses usually make up all flights to 4 balls.  This can lead to a situation where you have to play with players not in your party.  None of you will play alone.  5 players are booked as a 3-ball and a 2-ball. 6 players as a 4-ball and a 2-ball.  We only confirm the start time for the first flight, the other flights will start at consecutive times.

Booking Process

When we receive your completed enquiry form we will confirm the cost based on the rates and fees published on our website and ask you to confirm that you wish to proceed with the booking.  We will also advice you of any special offers available on the courses you have chosen.

When you proceed we request the golf from the golf courses, and let you know when we think the courses will respond.

Confirming Start Times

As soon as the golf courses have confirmed the start times to us, we confirm them to you.  Some courses process advance bookings as much as 12 months in advance, while others only confirm times about 3 months before play. For single golfers, start times are only confirmed 2 weeks in advance, as at most golf courses single golfers are booked into the flight gaps as late as possible.

We have a limited time to accept start times on your behalf and therefore need your confirmation that the times are acceptable:-

  • within 7 days for start times received 12 weeks or more in advance
  • within 3 days for start times received 12 to 5 weeks in advance
  • within 1 day for start times received less than 5 weeks in advance.

The courses reserve the right to change confirmed times (even at short notice).

Payments

Once you have accepted start times, you need to pay to secure your golf booking.

If you book golf within only 5 weeks before arrival we will ask you for a deposit or your credit card details to confirm your commitment to the golf order.

Payments can be made by MasterCard (EuroCard) and VISA, or by international bank transfer.  Bank transfers can be made up to 10 days before arrival and  we require you to bear the cost if you opt for this payment method.

Should you choose to pay by credit card, a surcharge of 5.00Euro per person irrespetive of the total amount of the payment will be made at the time of debit. For credit card payments we need the type of the card, the number, expiry date, precise name of the cardholder on the card and the cardholder's postal address. We recommend that you do not include credit card details in e-mails. You can let us have your credit card details by fax or on a secure online form.

If we do not receive your payment when it is due, we will cancel all your bookings without further notice.

Dress Code

Many courses have a strict dress code and refuse to let clients play if they are dressed inappropriately. Tailored shorts or trousers and collared shirts are the accepted course standard. Long socks are not necessary.

Golf shoes are essential and most courses require players to wear soft spikes on their shoes. These courses also offer a service, with a small charge, to change your spikes. Our advice, once you have had your spikes changed, retain them for the duration of your golfing holiday.

Important

We can only guarantee correct delivery of golf vouchers if you arrive on the flight we were told.  We arrange that this flight is met, even if it is delayed.

Neither we, nor the golf courses will give any refunds for "no shows", or if you are not allowed to play because you failed to show the appropriate handicap certificate, you are dressed inappropriately or you are otherwise unfit to play golf.
